On January 14, 2021, representatives of the University attended the fifty-fourth bargaining session with the union committee representing graduate student assistants. The bargaining session was held via video conference.

Anne Sullivan, the University’s Executive Vice President for Finance and Information Technology, joined the bargaining session to provide an update on and answer questions about the financial impact of COVID-19 on the University.

The University presented revised proposals on Vacation, Union Activity/Access, Leaves of Absence, and International Student Employees. The Union presented revised proposals on Appointment Guarantee and Leaves of Absence

The parties continued to discuss their previously presented proposals on International Student Employees.

The parties reached tentative agreements on Vacation and Professional Development.

The next bargaining session is scheduled for January 21, 2021
